Wise Coaches was founded by Nashville-native, Alan Wise, in 1997. After discovering a love for the transportation industry, Alan began his own company with two motorcoaches—a 1982 and a 1983 Eagle. At first, Alan managed all aspects of the business himself, with the help of just one faithful employee, Mr. Ernest Lyons, who remained a close friend and devoted team member over the years. The company experienced explosive growth and soon expanded to meet the increasing demands of its loyal client base. Repeat customers returned time and time again to rent more coaches.

Alan’s innovation and core values drove the addition of a new breed of employees and drivers who shared his passion and mindset to make the Wise name synonymous with luxury and comfort. To further address this goal, Alan collaborated with leading motorcoach design teams to devise and create a lavish, comfortable motorcoach interior with the latest advancements in mobile technology, such as satellite and Wi-Fi.
This advancement in comfort and convenience propelled the industry, and was soon mimicked by Wise’s competitors. In no time flat, Alan, his company, and his distinctive red and black coaches secured a rock solid reputation for providing best-of-breed equipment and service.
